Tomorrow, I'm going to compete in the newcomers' level at Harvard Beginners Competition... I wonder if I'll actually get anything. (My partner and I totally mop the floor with the competition in BU's own ballroom club, but I'm not sure if there are ultra zai people in like Harvard or something...) I'm starting to see why people say ballroom is so bitchy... it's not social. It's all competition... rivalry... shit like that.
Wish me luck.
I'm compiling a list of things I would occupy my leisure time with if I really had nothing to do. (Extremely anti-social for the most part...)
1) SALSA! Not 21 yet so can't do this till December
2) Watch season 4 and 5 of 24
3) Play Final Fantasy XII and Guitar Hero II
4) Watch Grey's Anatomy OR Lost
5) Try spending some more time on ballroom
6) Actually hang out and get drunk
7) Check out the rock/metal scene in Boston
(TBC)
For some inconceivable reason, I think that EVERYONE is older and wiser than me, when in fact everyone is either younger than me, or at least the same age. (Except the seniors, but man, you'd think that the word SENIOR automatically makes them old.)
Still drowning in my Infernal voyage... and god I need to salsa ASAP. I've almost lost it completely.
